Sugar Block Club BOTM - January 2014

more coffee shop sketches...

This shot shows some of the detail and also shows the turquoise and orange colors correctly, however the brown is a bit darker than this.

Come on, we all knew a majority of my wish list would be of Tecna

In looking around I am finding many precious antiques to pass on . This was a part of my maternal great grandmother's yo yo coverlet. My aunt divided it into smaller pieces and made a pillow for it to be displayed on. You can see how old it was. She died when I was about 8 years old. I'll be 81 next month.

Falta tempo para fazer todas, sou muito lenta, não sei apressar o passo mas gosto do resultado

Thanks ladies for your hard work. These squares are all so cute and well made.

While I really liked the light rows on this top, they seemed to need a little pizazz and I wanted to add a bit of the darker colors somewhere. I think the three quarter inch squares will do the trick. As you can probably see, I'm using scrappy whites in this top, all some kind of white on white fabrics.

I bought Christmas cards and decided the envelopes looked too plain, so drew them to match the card colors. Too fun! Now to address them all........
